We work from The Landscape Design Centre in Dargate, barely fifteen minutes from Teynham, and our hardwood gates are handcrafted in our own joinery workshop. Every gate is made to order and measured to your entrance to the nearest millimetre. Being local also means our engineers reach you quickly for the survey, the fitting and any servicing later.
Manufacturing usually runs to between eight and twelve weeks, as everything is made to order. Installation itself takes one to five days on site.
Most fall under permitted development. You will need permission if they stand over two metres tall, over one metre beside a road, or if your property is listed or in a conservation area.
Every system we fit comes with a manual release key so you can open the gates by hand. Our sliding systems include battery back-up as standard.
Yes. A sliding gate on a track rail is the usual answer where ground falls away, provided there is clear space to one side.
